Blueberry Muffin

Has it ever happened to you that you do not want to eat something or taste only because its ugly appearance? There are some food that has an unattractive presentation and nobody wants to eat it. However, there are also nice presentations of food which may have an unpleasant taste. All those things could happen with certain kind of breads. The purpose of this essay is for you to know more deeply the external (sight and smell) and internal (taste and touch/texture) characteristics that the blueberry muffin has.

You need to know what a muffin is. A muffing can be described as a kind of bread that comes from Germany. It is a quick bread made of batter containing egg and baked in a pan having cuplike molds. You can accompany it with coffee and have a relaxing time with your friends as well as your family in raining days for instance. This kind of bread can be eaten in any time of the day.

This peculiar bread has external characteristics like: the sight and the smell. The sight of the blueberry muffin does not look delicious. It has an appearance of rotten with purple and white colors, like if the muffin has spider webs. The smell is like baked bread with fresh blueberries. It was like if a man would have collected them from a harvest. So, the sight and the smell have not any relationship.

The internal characteristics of the blueberry muffin: taste and touch/texture. There are not enough words to describe this specific taste. That muffin has a taste of sugar with delicious blueberries. It also tastes to honey with maple-cinnamon glaze, and butter. The touch in the mouth is soft. Each time you bit the bread, you will feel how the grains of sugar disappear slowly in your mouth. The taste and touch of the muffin have relationship because of its sweetness and softness.

To sum up, this kind of muffin has an unattractive sight but a sweet taste, a soft touch, and a pleasant smell. Tasting was a sweet experience for me because I was able to know how the taste of that bread was. It has been the sweetest food I have tasted in my life. After I tasted it, I could not stop eating it. Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like.

My Literacy Process Essay

Technology is a reflection of men for survival. Times have changed and there was the necessity to create new tools for communication. Everything started with a simple typewriter, later a computer, and nowadays we have internet access. There are many programs in which you can do different things for different purposes. The aim of this essay is for you to see my evolution in electronic tools like: How I started using them with its advantages and disadvantages, my experiences with them nowadays, and my future plans with electronic tools.

I began using electronic tools and I found some advantages and disadvantages. I started using electronic tools since I was in secondary school doing formal projects. Also, because my older brother had an internet business and I used to go to that place, so I started surfing on the web in my leisure time. One disadvantage was that I became an addicted to use electronic tools; in this case internet. On the other hand, I became almost an expert using it.

I have had many experiences in using electronic tools, in this case I will write about two of them. Talking about the L2 I have developed some of my English skills. Through an internet program whose name is Skype I was able to have some conversations with American people and in that way I have developed a good listening comprehension. Nowadays, I can master some word processors which are going to be useful during and after finishing my major (Power Point, Word, Excel, Movie maker, etc).

Doing a Master’s Degree and Educational research using electronic tools are my future plans. I want to do a Master’s Degree online after finishing my major. I think I could study it in any place where there is internet access. My other plan is to continue doing educational research using electronic tools. I want to buy a personal computer and do my homework, assignments, and projects and so on.

To sum up, there were advantages and disadvantages when I started using electronic tools. I have gotten some experiences with electronic tools in L2, and I have planned some things related to electronic tools. Electronic tools are useful nowadays in order to communicate with each other, to do formal assignments, etc. Nowadays, I can say that I am able to do everything with electronic tools. Real progress is what makes technology accessible to everyone.

Introductory Essay

The basis of a good relationship is when people know you and vice versa, but first of all you need to talk about yourself. In this way you can connect with others and as a result make a good friendship, working environment, even a romantic relationship. The purpose of this essay is to introduce myself to others in order to share my personal information, positive life experiences, and personal goals.

Something important is my personal information. My name is Karen and it comes from a Danish origin and it means pure. I do not have a job but I would like to start working before I finish my major, I am a responsible and tolerant person who likes to tell jokes. Some of my hobbies are: sleeping in the afternoon, listening to any kind of music, swimming, and chatting. I like cats and fish, white chocolates, meeting new people, white roses, and sunny days, among other things. On the other hand, I do not like: dancing reggaeton, big dogs, and liars, among other things.
I have had many positive experiences but in this case I will write about two of them. My experience with internet has good and bad things. A good thing I got from it was to meet to my boyfriend through a web page whose name is metroflog. He has taught me a lot of good things and I am so happy for being with him. Another positive experience is to study at UAA. I have acquired a lot of knowledge and learned many things from my new beautiful friends.

In addition, each person has short-term and long-term goals. My short-term goal is to get a job. I would like to work on a Primary School or High School with adults. My long-term goal is to form a happy family. I would like to have a son and a daughter, a big and beautiful house and travel around the world with them.

As a conclusion, it is important not to judge people only for their physical appearance. You need to take time for knowing others. I can say I am a social person. I have improved my personality due to my life experiences (with internet and studying at the UAA). I expect to achieve my goals: to get a job and to form a happy family.
