My Literacy Process Essay
Technology is a fanaticism reflection of men for survival. Times have changed and there was the necessity to create tools for communication. Everything started with a simple typewriter, later a computer, and nowadays we have internet access. There are many programs in which you can do different things for different purposes. The purpose of this essay is you to see my evolution in electronic tools like: How I started using them with its advantage and disadvantage, my experiences with them nowadays, and my future plans with electronic tools.
I had a beginning about using electronic tools which it had advantage and disadvantage- I started using electronic tools since I was in secondary school due to elaborate formal projects. Also because my old brother had an internet business and I used to go to that place, so I started surfing on the web in my leisure time. One disadvantage was that I became an addictive about using electronic tools in this case internet. On the other hand, I become almost an expert using it.
I have had many experiences about using electronic tools, in this case I will write about two of them. Talking about the L2 I have developed some of my English skills. Through an internet program shoe name is Skype I could have some conversations with American people and on that way I have a good listening. Nowadays, I can master some word processors which are going to be useful during and after finishing my major (Power Point, Word, Excel, Movie maker, etc).
Doing a Master’s Degree and Educational research using electronic tools are my future plans. I want to do a Master’s Degree online after finishing my major. I think I could study it in any place where there is internet access. My other plan is to continue doing educational research using of course electronic tools. I want to buy a personal computer and do my homework, assignments, and projects and so on.
To sum up, there was an advantage and disadvantage when I started using electronic tools; I have gotten some experiences with electronic tools in L2, and I have planed some things related with electronic tools. Electronic tools are useful nowadays in order to communicate each other, to do formal homework, etc. Nowadays I can say that I can not do anything without electronic tools. Real progress is what makes the technology accessible to everyone.
